Why we recommend UKHOst4U

We are a very small business run by a small team but we are entirely web based. We chose UKHost4U after trying other providers in a pilot. We chose them because the pilot experience shone in comparison. What we need is reliable service, good customer support and the ability to grow within affordable packages. As users of the service the C-Panel provides all the tools we need and as a Linux based operation this is very important. We have been with this provider since 2006 and whilst we have had issues, there are always issues if you know anything about being web based, we have always felt we have had strong support and committed customer orientated service. This is so important. As we have grown we have got to know the team and the people we deal with and have, in the process, learnt to put a lot of faith in them. This may sound as though this review may be "concocted" but it is not, this is our experience of this provider. We recommend to all of our clients to use UKHost4U and are happy to make such a positive review.

Biggest Pro: Very good support
Biggest Con: Hard to login to billing

Too sharp for your benefit

Hosting is steady but unspectular. I would not recommend though because they work to very strict rules that they seem unwilling or unable to flex. When my card on record expired, they didn't bother telling me, they simply took my hosting down. Then this year when I decided to move away they took the money anyway because I used a transfer form instead of a cancellation form too tell them. Even though I corrected that just two days later, they refused to show any good grace in their responses. They therefore got £70 for less than 3 days hosting and refused to refund. (legal action pending).

My advice is to find a partner who will treat you as a valued customer and be fair, not one who just rigidly applies rules as ukhost4u have done to me twice!

Biggest Pro: uptime isn't bad
Biggest Con: you are unlikely to get any fairness or flexibility and they know their rules better than you will!
