They were the best. But they were getting worser now
I have been a customer with them for about 10 or 11 months. I was subscribed to the Shared Package of about 7$. They have provided UNLIMITED features. And I have hosted about 8 sites with them. They have provided good support. Good services. But I there was a server crash, a few months ago. And I have lost the database of one of my sites. They have mentioned that they take daily/weekly backups. But they weren't able to restore my db ! When I talked to them, they said that they don't have the backup files as their server had crashed and nothing is left for restoring !!
But before this server crash, I have created 3 backups via cPanel. And I have got email log after performing those backups. When I mentioned about this, they told me that they can't find the backups anywhere. They asked me to upload it !!! But I haven't downloaded the copy of the backup as I thought it will reside in my account.
From December 2011, they are withdrawing their reseller service and were going to completely concentrate on the VPS and Dedicated packages. So, I moved onto a new host (Hostgator). Since my account expired, they have reopened my account for 3 more days to finish up the transfer process, upon requesting. They did this for free. That was very nice of them.
So, to conclude, they have almost good tech support. But frequent server and db crashes are a pain in the back.
This was my third host. The first one was Manahosting, which is world's No.1 worst service provide. The second was JodoHost, and they provide good support, but the features were limited. Third one was Snoork, they have good support but frequent data loss is an issue. Now I am with Hostgator. Don't know how my new host is going to impress/depress me. Hope they won't make me cry. :)
Thank you for reading.
Biggest Pro: technical support, unlimited features
Biggest Con: database/server crashes, loss of data
