Great Hosting for Business
Moving our business over to Skystra’s cloud platform was a blessing. We make heavy use of our company intranet, and on our old hosting service, it would crash a lot. White pages, 500 Internal Server Errors, and so on.
A headache I, nor my staff, really needed. I tasked someone on my team to do some research on various other hosting companies, and we landed on Skystra. The move was painless, they took care of everything.
I appreciate their careful attention to detail during our website move. We had to freeze content creation on our intranet for 2 hours, but that was it. I’ll happily leave reviews for companies that treat me, or my company, right. And these people do.
Biggest Pro: They respond to my emails faster than I send them!
Biggest Con: With all of the headaches they save us, none.
I am quite impressed by this specific web hosting company. They piqued my intrigue a few years ago by claiming they would outperform any web host I came from.
I accepted their challenge, happily obliging them to prove their claims to me. To my delightful surprise, they actually did what they said they would. Having eaten crow, my contact there, Derek, offered to bring me over to their Cloud. I have been succintly happy since then.
They have an exquisite infrastructure and hosting platform. I quite like it a lot.
Biggest Pro: They have an excellent infrastructure. Solid team. Helpful guides
Biggest Con: Pricing is a tad high.
Skystra hosting review
I run a security IT consultancy company and was looking for a place I could trust my data with... for anyone that's been in the hosting and tech industry as long as i have you know it's pretty damn hard to find a place you can trust and on top competent. i'd never heard of Skystra to be honest at first but they kept popping onto my radar here and there on different forums.... people kept recommending them so I left my provider who I was actually pretty happy with just to see what else is out there. After a week talking to the Skystra team, I moved over all of my websites and emails.
Biggest Pro: I trust them with my data. They are competent.
What a pleasure it is to work with the Skystra team; a real professional company and very long overdue - thank you for always speaking to me so politely and answering all of my web hosting and technology related questions.
I work in a mental health education company and was tasked along with our IT team to put together a new website and actually came across Skystra while reading about startup funds they were giving out to new businesses, we're not a new business but I reached out to them and they offered 3 months of credits to us to get our new website together and that act of generosity coupled with their excellent service has made us sit tight with them for the last 4 years and we have no intention of going elsewhere.
Biggest Pro: A true company of professionals
My informative review of Skystra
Skystra asked me to leave a review, so here it is for everyone to read and experience! I have a bunch of websites running cpanel on their cloud, love it. Just love it. I’m able to put my clients on their Edge. When I started with them, I was on their lowest plan. Things change, I make a bit more money with my sites now. All good. Anyways, these guys are good, and I like them. That’s about it. Hope someone finds this informative.
Biggest Pro: Flexible and friendly.
Biggest Con: Nah, they’re good.
They're WordPress Pros!!
I love love love these guys!!!! I’ve been using WordPress for a few months now, learning it and all that. It’s not as easy as it seems, especially at first. I’ve been asking them a ton of questions and they’ve been sooooo patient with me. I had an OMG moment with a theme I bought, and my WordPress went blank. I thought my whole site was gone, but Fred and then Marc fixed it for me. They saved my *** since this was a project I was doing for work. I’m one happy customer!!!!
Biggest Pro: They know WordPress inside and out!
Biggest Con: Nothing!!
They host my site no complaints doesn’t go down i don’t use any of their special features so no worth to me but as a host they are fine they're quick on chat and email they're not cheap but i started seeing my ecommerce site as an investment so i just went for it and paid in the end for what you get it's worth it and dont need to worry about my site crashing or anything like before so all around pretty good they also didn't mess up the website move like my last host
Biggest Pro: no complaints
Biggest Con: would like more deals
Cloud hosting Skystra
I've always been suspicious of companies who claim to be cloud. Most of the time, it's just some VPS on a dedicated server running at some third rate datacentre. So I appreciate that my site and email actually are on Google's Cloud via Skystra's operating systems. It's more than I used to pay, but I get to sleep at night now. I like how security and backups are all included too, hated paying for that stuff extra at othher places even though it seemed cheaper at first everything got way more expensive so I get everything I need and I know what I'm going to pay better that way i guess.
Biggest Pro: Great tech real cloud
Review of Skystra
I had a weird problem with my wordpress site, the data I changed kept reappearing when I went on my site. Opened a chat with Skystra and they helped me out right away and they were pretty fast too. Turned out I had a thing called cache on my computer that I needed to clear. Also didn't make me feel stupid for asking and just kinda took care of it right away for me.. Lovely support team, thank you for the help!
Biggest Pro: Love the support
Biggest Con: Need more discounts
I used to be with with a few different hosts and was happy there until my site kept going down every day. It got really frustrating and customer service was non existent basically. When I moved my stuff over, i never got pingdom alerts again about the site or email being down. I just wish they would offer a promo or coupon so it can be a bit cheaper. That's my only complaint
Biggest Pro: they really know their stuff
