Used them for over a year and had occasional email outages. But in ~June of last year Rescue Hosting completely disappeared and my 3 business sites dropped off the internet for 2 weeks, before I changed hosters.

I guess he's come back, and now he sends me past-due invoices and sends me to collections! He's got a suit coming. Even though I've had no service for almost a year, here's his message:
Account being Sent to Collections $150 Fee being assesed (sic)

This email is being sent to advise you that your account is reaching 30 days past due. Per terms and agreements of Rescue Hosting packages clients are given 30 days to pay their invoces, aftger which their accounts may be termianted and a service fee of $150 for collections to be assesed.
We have attempted to get in touch with you many times, Sending invoice reminders, warnings and other attempts to get in contact with you. Since we have not heard from you at all, we will be assesing the collection fees and turning this over to the outside collection agency. If you have any questions you need to contact us ASAP before the transfer of the account goes to collections over the next 24 - 48 hours.

So I reminded him of his extended outage, and this is his response:

C., we haven't gone anywhere. Phone lines up 24 7, live chat 24 7. No
outages or down time, this can be verified by an outside review service on
our reviews page second one down.

Either way, invoices are generated 30 days in advance with 2 reminders. Customers can respond to their invoices up to 7 days via email before their due date and cancel.
Then are then sent 4 more reminders after that. I dont see any replies from you in regards to that. This would not have required any need to access our website at all.

As we now know your email address is good, and the reply button does work.
Therefore you have shown failure to communicate.

I do appreciate tbe permission to send this account to collections and will
make sure it gets over to them today.
