Worst kind of d-bag IT guys there are ...
Saving the world one IPv4 address at a time, these idiots will make your life miserable if you have IP addresses that aren't utilized to their satisfaction. I'm not sure if there's a class of customer that would benefit from using these guys, as they fail in just about every category in my experience -- they're expensive, have poor performance, no customer support phone number, no/poor customer service, and unreasonable IP restrictions. The most annoying issue in my experience is that they don't have a sufficient quantity of IP addresses available to provide "extra" IP addresses to their customers. So, they have onerous requirements to have an SSL cert on every IP address that you have active with them. This is clearly not ideal for businesses which do any sort of SEO work, manage content sites, or do hosted marketing for other companies.
Worth noting, these guys host their servers at the Planet in Dallas just like every other hosting company in the world, so do yourself a favor and by-pass these losers and try any of the other providers out there. Nothing to see here, that's for sure ...
Fwiw, I'm moving to MyHosting.com for a VPS systems which are ~5x as powerful and costs almost $20 less per month. I truly should have left Linode a long time ago, but better late than never.
Biggest Pro: They make great use of the color green on their website.
Biggest Con: Expensive, poor performance, incredibly annoying IT staff, no phone number, and no support. These guys suck.
