Justhost is a junk hosting that i used
3 days ago, the server down for 20 hours, then they move my accoun to another server, but they removed my dedicated IP, they said that i haven't cancelled it. In fact, i just cancelled the next renew of dedicated IP at Aug. I sent several tickets to request getting back my IP, but they said they can send an invoice to renew it only. I almost think they are scam. Another thing that you should know, they will suspend your account when your script used 10% resources with no any notification before suspended. So don't choose this junk hosting, choose hostmonster or others are better than it.
Don't use Just Host
We are on a dedicated server with Just Host. Our server has been down for over 16 hours, and they refuse to do anything about it. Their techs are incompetent. Demands to speak with a supervisor were refused. These people are simply bad business, and no one should use them for anything mission critical, as our sites are. We have had continual problems with them since the day we signed up. We are transferring our hosting to GoDaddy, where we have never had any problems.

My wife was diagnosed with Breast Cancer a year ago and been trying to re coop and my domain was
registered with just host and for the past 9 hours Ive been trying to re register the domain.
I am in the process of putting a complaint in the attorney generals office and will be suing just host for
poor service loss of wages. Also getting in touch with the better business bureau. Also calling channel 7 news 7 on your side. For all that have problems with just host please contact the write organizations.

Just Host does not deserve to be trashed.
I've been with Just Host since July and have had no issues. To be honest, I signed up before seeing these reviews and became quite concerned after reading these and tried to move my domain, but couldn't due to requirements that you keep your domain hosted at a provider for at least a couple of months. This is the deal with most hosts as I understand it.
I've had minimal problems with Just Host and have been satisfied with the support I've gotten. Support is mainly available via e-mail and chat and has worked just fine for me. If you need more hand holding, then you may need to get a host that offers live telephone support. Just yesterday, I had my site hacked and Just Host was able to restore it within a couple of hours.
I just think all these negative reviews are a scam designed to hurt Just Host. I think that's unfair and probably being sponsored by one or more of their competitors. There is nothing wrong with Just Host.

No Problem here with Just Host
I had a blog hosted at wordpress and decided I wanted to have it hosted directly so I would have more flexibility and after search the web, I settled on Just Host. The problems have been minimal and the support has been fine. I use the chat feature for support and it's worked pretty well for me. I'm pretty good working with computers, so I don't need a lot of help. Just Host support is only going to be able to assist with basic questions otherwise you're on your own.
I just wanted to write this review from a real person as I feel there's a campaign being waged here to trash Just Host. After I signed up, I came here to read these reviews and was concerned enough that i seriously considered moving and actually tried to do so, but wound up staying. DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ HERE. For some reason, there's a negative campaign being waged here and that's not fair
No Problems with Just Host
I signed up with Just Host and then ran into these reviews here and got concerned. I was fully prepared to switch hosting services but found out that I'd have to leave my domains with Just Host for 6 months before i could switch and I just decided to stay.
I've had no problem with support. They've been very responsive and I like the chat feature as it efficient and I've gotten answers to my question without a problem. The service itself is not a problem. The only issue seems to be that my blog seems to load more slowly than I'd like, but I'm not sure that has anything to do with them
I just think all these reviews here critical of Just Host are bogus and represent a dirty underhanded trick to affect Just Host's business. I've not had any major issues with them at all.
unJustHost will Steal your SiteName Before you even Sign Up
I was in the process of applying and inserted the website name I wanted. Before signing up, I read these reviews and decided that JustHost was unJust and never completed the first page. Remember, I never signed up, but they grabbed my name so I couldn't use it with anyone else. Obviously they keep information about you while you're filling in the form, whether you click OK or not. They'll probably do the same to you. Fortunately, I never entered my creditcard number. Nobody else knew the name I wanted.
I am considering a suit.

All I've gotten is the run around and I stil am out $94.60. Their add-ons and tools were astonomically priced. the whole thing stinks. I'm haveing my banks fraud team look into it to get my money refunded.

How can i sue justhost.com?
First, justhost is the worst hosting provider, and worst ever support. I had a reseller account for almost 10 moths, and i canceled my reseller account due to daily downtime and my site was hacked 3 times from their staff.
However, i canceled my reseller account and i requested for a prorata refund, they replied that they will refund me $123 USD. That was 21 days ago, and i did not receive my refund up to this moment.
Now, i want to Sue justhost, any one know what is the proper way to do this? Who to contact?
Appreciate any help how to sue justhost.
just host stinks
This has got to be the worst hosting company ever. I paid for a 12 month plan and 30 minute priority turnaround. Their tech support people don't know what they are doing. They are located in India and most of them can't speak english well enough to rectify any issue. They are all rude and there is no way to speak to anyone that can fix or even address your issue. I know I will never see a penny back from the money I sent with them, so I will spend the upcoming time, until jsut host is out of business, educating people on how horrible this company is.

Unacceptable Service from JustHost
I moved my domain from a different host to JustHost after reading reviews for them on TopTenReviews. Honestly, I was very impressed with the reviews there. But today I seriously believe those were "paid for" reviews that were written by TopTenReviews.
JustHost does not stand anywhere close to what they promise.
My first problem took place the day I signed up. I tried making a payment for my account vis PayPal. Payment went through PayPal but JustHost did not reflect that. So I decided to make the payment directly by my credit card. Its then I realized that I was also charged on PayPal. Took me a couple of hours to get a refund.
My second problem also took place the day I signed up with JustHost. I was looking at the website transfer offer they had. I clicked the "Continue" button expecting it would take me to the next page with more details, but voila, clicking the Continue button actually placed the order for Website Transfer; No confirmation asked, no order page, nothing.. I was charged $50 for website transfer. I decided to continue without making an issue, since I was actually transferring my domain I thought I might as well some professional people get the site files transferred as well.
Anyways, they still did not leave up to their promise. They promise to transfer your site files and the databases in less than 12 hours, thats what they charge $50 for. BUt it took them almost two whole days to complete the transfer and it came with a lot of problems. My site transfer was not actually a successful one. I have to make changes to my sites configuration to get it up and running properly once again.
In short, I had to be offline for two whole days and go through a lot of problems when I decided to switch to JustHost.
Anyways, my nightmare was not over.
I have a couple of databases, however, only two are actually active. One is for my site and the second is for the wordpress blog I have.
Early November, 2010. My account was suspended. BAAAAMMMMMMMMM.... Why..? I had no clues. There was no intimation sent either before or even after suspending my account. I had to raise a support ticket to know what happened, which is definitely not acceptable. They are supposed to be informing their customers about any such severe actions before executing it.
Aren't they suppose to send you a warning mail, atleast 24 hours prior to take any such actions? Surprisingly they don't even bother informing you after taking any such action as well.
Then I read the super fine print on the Terms & Conditions page.
These arent the exact words, but it is what those words mean.
"We hold the right to suspend any account at any time at our discretion without any prior intimation. We will do our best to inform the customer but are not obligated to do so"
I believe we all understand what that means.
When I raised the ticket, I was told I am overusing the system resources. Against the 10% that I am supposed to be using according to the fair use policy. The database for my site is using 45% of CPU resources and my wordpress blog's database is using 105% of the CPU resources.
Now here is the surprise. My site has around 300 unique visitors a day with approximately 3000 pageviews a day. That is not too much of traffic and they say I am using over 45% of the CPU resources.
Now beat this. My wordpress blog had only 85 posts so far, had been online for about 10 days and I didn't have any visitors as yet and with this, I am using 105% of the CPU resources???????
God, what are the limitations????
They suggested making certain changes to the config file in the wordpress blof to speed it up and reduce the load on the server. When I added those codes, my blog was a complete mess. I once again, had to redo the config file to get the blog up and running again.
And guess what, it took over 6 hours to get my site online again.
P.S.: I had asked JustHost to provide me with numbers which can help me understand the 10% Fair Usage Policy and there has been no reply on that as yet.
