My iPage experience was terrible. Would NOT recommend to newbies.
Their money back guarantee turned out not to be "all my money back". The deducted $15 for my "free" domain name or registration or some damn thing. This is a company only a lawyer could love.
Tech support couldn't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heel.
Biggest Pro: Able to ultimately get some live chat help, although the help didn't resolve the issues.
Biggest Con: Tech support has the technical skills God gave gravel.
BEWARE. Only 6 pages to be published for it $3.50/mo deal.
I am new to web hosing and I saw the iPage $3.50/mo promo deal and signed up. I tried to used its Sitebuilder to build my website and discovered that there is a six (6) pages limit. If I want to publish more than 6 pages, I must sign up for the premium service which cost another $9.50/mo. This limitation is not made know to mein iPage promo. So, buyer beware!! Moreover, they have very few unattractive web templates to choose from. If you want choices, iPage only give little.
Refund: Their full refund mean they will deduct $15. So, you will not get a full refund!. Obnly partial. To get refund, I must contact them after I cancelled the subscription. Their so call specialist will not contact you. You must contact them to get refund after you cancel.
If you are new to web hosting like me, try to sign up for FREE trial. There are many out there.
Biggest Pro: Ipage has live chat sales team. So, you can get contact them easily.
Biggest Con: For $3.5/mo, there is a 6-pages limitation if you use their Sitebuilder to build your site. very few choices of template.
