Terrible service
I have been trying to cancel my automatic payment plan with them.
I have been calling them. I have submitted tickets which disappear after a couple of weeks. I have disputed charges. Nothing works with them.
I just had to report my CC as lost and stolen to stop them from charging me.

Biggest Con: customer service
Don't use this host
We had really good service for a couple years. Then we started having all kinds of email trouble. We spent weeks trying to get the situation resolved. During that time, the customer service "inadvertently" sent me an interoffice message talking about how unreasonable we were. Finally, we were able to get them to unlock the domain so we could move our site. Once moved, we closed the account. We thought! They told us that it was closed....but March 2009 they charged us for another year of service. We have spent the last 8 weeks trying to get that money back. They gave us a "proper apology" but still no refund.
Stay away. They will go out of their way to get your business but after that they go out of their way to steal you blind.
Biggest Con: They lie
Response by Joe Zanchi, who is an employee of EDTHosting:
Hello,
After attempting for several days to resolve this issue to the client's satisfaction, we did issue a full refund. After researching the problem on behalf of this client, it was determined that the problem with their email was due to a DNS issue, because their domain name had expired. We attempted to explain this to the client - that they needed to renew the domain name with the 3rd party registrar that they had used to register their account, and the problem was outside of our control.
It is our policy to do everything within our power to help our clients have the best possible web hosting experience, and we are sorry that we were unable to help this client get back up and running, but unfortunately, we had no control over this situation as the domain name was locked by the 3rd party registrar that the client had used to register the domain name.
Ultimately, We ended up issuing a full refund for their year of hosting service, (including the months for which they had already received services) which we believe went above and beyond what most web hosts would have done in this situation.
