Beware of DedicatedNow - Honest Review
Here is my honest personal review of DedicatedNow to help you decide if it is a good choice for you or you want to stay away from it...
When I first started using DedicatedNow, everything seemed to be fine, but then the problems with them showed one by one.
First, when I contacted their support team for questions and issues, they took quite a long time to reply back. You know when you have tens of sites hosted and something happens, you want it to be solved now - not 3 days later. Otherwise you start losing sales.
Second, their support team is anything but caring and friendly. You'll feel the person actually doesn't care a bit about what happens to your business and just replies to you with a cold, copy and paste kind of answer.
Not a good attitude to keep you happy as a customer, right?
And biggest problem of all, when you finally decide your money would be better invested in another company and ask them to cancel your account and stop billing you, guess what they say?
Their "friendly" customers team tells you that they will cancel your account but "their policy" is to charge you for 2 more months first. If you don't pay it, no cancellation.
You know that all other companies will stop billing you the day you cancel. Well, not DedicatedNow. They want to get as much money as possible from you.
Don't bother trying to reason with them that since you are canceling today, why in the world should you be charged for 2 more months?
They will just coldly reply "Sorry, this is our policy. You should have read it before registering."
OK, the summary is, DedicatedNow might be pretty good in uptime aspect, but there are tons of other much better hosting companies who at least respect you and don't cheat you.
It's your choice...
Since I got cheated by them, the least thing I could do was to inform other people so they can't do this to more and more people.
Wish you the best of luck finding a great, reliable hosting company!
Biggest Pro: Cheap price comparing to other dedicated hostings
Biggest Con: Terrible customer service
