Great for Fast Dedicated Servers and Datacenter Products
For several years I operated two Linux/WHM-CPanel dedicated servers that were housed with Codero. These servers performed great, and overtime I would upgrade them, buy new boxes, and transfer website accounts to the new boxes.
Everything worked smoothly, and whenever it didn't, I knew technical support was available 24/7 to help me out. It was a fabulous solution that supported a couple hundred websites.
As the years went on, I eventually made a critical business decision that had us leaving Codero services and running dedicated servers in favor of fully managed solutions and cloud-based hosting solutions for all of my websites and those of my clients. But we were completely satisfied and happy with the service we received at Codero.
Ultimately, there were just too many additional costs in terms of people resources to manage a server -- especially in times when something would go wrong.
As I'm writing this review, I can say that Codero's team was there for me during the days, during the evenings, and even on the weekends. Their team always went above and beyond their normal expected services to help me manage my server, even when I was on an unmanaged server plan.
In the 4+ years I was with Codero, I only had one network outage, which did not last very long. They're a great service, and I know they have expanded their offerings since then. Would definitely recommend them to others.
Biggest Pro: Great value for a superior product
Biggest Con: Hard to scale with the quickly growing cloud-based speciality web hosts.
