Years later - We're outta here

Bluegenesis was new and so were we as a company - we started a hosting relationship with them and at first the relationship was. great... but things changed. The other reviews here are all too accurate. Horrible service, blaming the client for issues, little to no assistance, recurring issues after they have been 'fixed'... the list goes on.

We are now in the process of moving all the site we host in our reseller account to another hosting service. Over the years we have moved bit by bit and the latest issue is the last straw. We had clients unable to email us for over a year due to issues created by Bluegenesis... lost one client of 5 we had remaining on the server... another was contacting us to have us build a new website - not sure if they will use us now or not... Seriously! Not worth the headaches and lack of assistance. Look elsewhere. We use 3 other hosting companies as a reseller and do not have anywhere near the extent of issues or bad service with our other business partners.

Biggest Pro: They were initially marketed as Canadian.
Biggest Con: Horrible service - long times to wait for results.

Do not use this service

I recently and regrettably have moved my site and application to their service. Simply Installing an SSL certificate has been the most painful experience I have ever had to go through. It has been 8 days and I still do not have a functioning site. They claim 24-48 hr response but this is grossly inaccurate. Every time you call support they say it has been escalated and their system administrator is working on it. You cannot call a supervisor or anyone except for the support answering service which normally keeps you on hold for more than 1 hour, no matter how frustrated you get they just keep giving you the exact same answer.

I am in the process of moving my site to Amazon and please take my advice and go anywhere else to get your site or application hosted.

Cannot Resolve Network Problems

I have used them for over 5 years now and for the most part they have been a reliable host. However with a few sites that have SSL Certificates I have had endless problems getting a stable configuration. One site has been down for two Friday's in a row and the support staff are trying to tell me that their Admins are working on it and it wont happen again. But it has happened two weeks in a row. I would not recommend them and will be migrating all my sites off their network.
