Poor Technical and Customer Support Service

After a series of disappointing experiences with my sites being hacked due to a weak hosting environment, I finally decided to try out Bitsimba Telecommunications Ltd. I haven't had any site security breaches resulting from a server targeted attack, but I have a serious concern with their customer service and technical team.

I was working on a very sensitive website project and even after purchasing sufficient disk space, I received a message saying that the disk space was full.

The site was running on a CMS platform, one of the best around. Suddenly, I couldn't edit the site because of a “Disk Space Full” message. Even worse, I could not log in to cPanel. Of course the space wasn't full. I hadn't even hit a tenth of my allotted disk space.

On their website, Bitsimba Telecommunication Ltd. claims 24/7 customer service. This is not true because when I have tried using their customer service, I could tell their mobile phone was off. On this day, I tried reaching them via phone as I always do, but sure enough, they were not available. I thought they would at least call me back afterwards, but they didn't. Disappointed and concerned about the project at hand, I proceeded to open a ticket on the customer portal. The response was very slow; it took a couple of days for them to address my concern.

While I congratulate them on security issues, I don't recommend their customer and technical support team because they are unresponsive. If you don't keep calling, nobody cares to reach out to you. This hurts me because I prefer a caring and responsive customer and technical team. Even if they can't respond as quick as possible, they should at least make the effort to follow up on their customers.

It seems to me that Bitsimba either has very few customer service personnel or they don't care about losing customers. Maybe they have such a broad client base that it doesn't matter to them. Bitsimba Telecommunications Ltd. can do better if they seriously improve their customer service and technical support. As it stands, if you run an e-commerce site or a regularly updated news blog and face an issue, they might not be a very good option for you.
