BigRock Web Hosting Review
I’ve used BigRock for 1 year and have been somewhat unsatisfied with their service and support. After my hosting plan expired with them, I didn’t feel the desire to renew it. Here are some pros and cons of BigRock:
Pros:
Hosting Plans: BigRock offers a great range of plans from very cheap and affordable to more expensive business plans. I started using BigRock because of a great deal I got from a seasonal sale.
Fast Servers: I never faced any latency on file transfers, although I am from India and I used to have a US-based Linux shared hosting plan.
Cons:
Reliability: BigRock's servers provided good speed but my site was unreachable on many occasions. In a span of a year, I faced unresponsive servers many times without any prior notice. I also had to face complaints from my clients because of it. This is the major reason why I switched from BigRock.
Login issues: I faced several login issues with BigRock. I also had instances whereby I failed to log in to cPanel several times, but could still access my hosted files by FTP using FileZilla. I complained about this to support but they never really resolved this particular issue.
Average Support: BigRock’s support hasn’t been a great experience for me as compared to other hosting providers. I have contacted the support team many times and on every occasion, I had to wait for at least 20-30 mins.

BigRock is the best web hosting provider at an affordable cost. As a startup business, we were looking for a reliable hosting solution that suite our budget. Besides that, we were looking for a great technical support to help us in several tasks and we found them very knowledgeable in different technical aspects.

As an IT startup, we are also concern about performance. I have ZERO downtime till today. Another facility is content caching by using Varnish. By using the DIY website builder anyone can start a website very easily. Some time we are facing some loading time issue which is a bit higher than average loading time of similar sites. Also, we have to backup our site manually is another drawback.
But if we consider the overall fact and figures I must say that I am happy with BigRock web hosting solutions. If anyone looking for a hosting solution that performs awesomely but a small investment I recommended them BigRock. And 30 days money back is still available to be in a safe site.

I started my career as a web developer after I decided to pursue my business in the internet marketplace. I came across bigrock while looking for a reliable hosting service. So after searching all over the internet, I went for bigrock. I registered my domain from them and bought hosting to get started with my project. After I got the hosting and the domain they called me to explain how everything will work and they made it easier for me to set up my account and create e-mail accounts on the server.
After I published my project there were some ups and downs and I always preferred to call the customer care number. and always get off satisfied. They always ask for any minute detail they think I have missed out and got all the queries solved.
One time I needed my project backed up and I was contacted by their representative within in 2 hours as I was told while requesting a call back that they will contact me within 24 hours. When I received their call I was confused to perform the task so they asked me to start screen sharing and they explained everything while doing it. After that, they told me what to do next. They told me to download the backup just in case. I always get an e-mail before they start any maintenance task and never take too long.
I hope this will help others to decide while buying any hosting plan.
