Poor Uptime, Getting Worse
I had two VPSs with WiredTree. Both experienced inexcusable downtime. I have never before seen a VPS provider that thought there was nothing wrong with 4 or more hours of downtime.
Before purchasing a WiredTree server ask two questions:
1. If you fail to provide good service or I get a bad server, what is your refund policy. Hint: they don't refund.
IMO, you should stay away from any company with a blanket "no refund" policy.
2. What is your uptime. If they're truthful -- and a quick search will support this -- it is less than 100%. A lot of people report very bad uptime. But they will probably tell you it is in the high 90s. So, why do they say "100% Uptime" on their home page? Looks like a less-than-honest company to me.
