QRV Hosting - Quick, Reliable, Value?

QRV supposedly stands for Quick, Reliable, Value. For some time I really enjoyed being hosted under QRV but then me and others soon realised that things were going wrong with the service.

Stuart (then the manager) was very helpful. He registered our domain for us and got us started with the hosting process. For a few months the service was great with a few hiccups but everyone is entitled to them occaisionally.

Firstly there was poor connection speed, shortly followed by no access to the sites at all.

We contacted QRV personally and were told that the server we were hosted on had been revoked and QRV had been conned out of money and lost their server. This meant we had lost almost 8 months worth of website/data and we were not happy.

Within a week QRV too had dissapeared, took our domains (which we paid for) and dissapeared. We managed to contact Stuart through another email he had and received a message telling us that domains needed to be transferred, they never were.

QRV are still operating today after hiccups with new servers but if you use them, make your own back-up's and get your own domain.

Biggest Con: Lack of communication, tendancies to dissapear
