iK:Host > Reliable UK & Europe Web Hosting Solutions

iK:Host is a web hosting company based in the UK and Europe. It was started in early 2004 under the name Budget-Hosting.com, which was a parent hosting site offering dedicated servers and colocation. However, they branched off into a separate company, which had a number one priority of customer service and support. This company was iK:Host, and it still stands as a company that truly does provide supreme customer service today.

I have been using iK:Host for my website ControlVee.com for about 5 months now. I was recommended to this hosting service by my good friend who has been hosted by iK:Host for almost a year now. He told the customer support is excellent and he had not ever had downtime. So, since the prices for 20gb disk space/200gb transfer hosting was only £2.50 per month, I decided to give it a try for at least a month. And boy, I would never think about looking back! I was surprised with how great the customer service really is. I had some trouble setting up my domain with my new hosting, so I logged into the support section of their website, left a ticket, and within minutes they described how to set up my domain with three different domain registrars! I couldn't have asked for any better support. Also, in my five months of hosting by iK:Host, I only had one minor downtime when they transfered their servers, but luckily that was in the middle of the night (approx. 5am), and it was fixed in about an hour. I was also pleased to find out I had a choice for an admin panel system to use (cPanel or DirectAdmin), as I prefer cPanel over DirectAdmin. Luckily there were no extra costs for each.

So, if you're looking for a host that gives you excellent support for extremely low prices, look to iK:Host. They also offer domain registrations and broadband internet if you are located in the Dundee (Scotland) area. Honestly, you're going to have to try it out to see really how great it is!
