Phenominal performance and service, bravo!!

This is a fast, no-nonsense Windows Server 2008 VPS host. I absolutely love the service. I've been with these guys for a couple years, and the uptime and support have been phenominal. I don't know who "Gustavo Guerra" ended up with but it wasn't AutomatedVPS, and the other reviewer wasn't even reviewing an experience. Fact is, I've only had one "glitch", and that was caused by an abusive customer (who got banned after I reported their hogging the CPU and bandwidth), and that was over a year ago. I have a third party monitoring service invoking a heartbeat check against my site and I can count with one hand how many times I've been alerted about an outage, times that were immediately followed with "back online" alerts. Every e-mail I send to these guys gets followed up on within half an hour, and any resolution required gets addressed within 15 to 30 minutes after that. Actually, when it comes to customer service, "they" seem to be represented by "he" (Joe Ventura), and he is very, VERY good. They just upgraded their servers with the latest and greatest in processing power and I got free additional CPU cores allocated to my VM because of it. I realize that their web site looks sloppy, but believe me, this may come across like a small shop, but these guys have proven to me that the small shops can have the best performance and customer support hands down.

Constant Reboots

2,5 months ago I subscribed to a HS SPECIAL 1GB/2CPU plan (posted at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=902908).

At start all was well, the price was good, the setup was fast and the network speed was really excelent.

But the problem is that every other day the server is rebooted without reason. My event log is full of kernel-hardware power failures. Last week I had an outage of more than 24h. I've tried to contact support several times, but I never had a response. I also never received the link to the status page where I could check my bandwith usage like promised.

The best VPS I never had

In the past I hosted my website in very known VPS providers like EasyCGI, Lunarpages, etc but none like AutomatedVPS.

It's simply amazing. At first, when you contact them to have a VPS plan, everything seems to be a "swindle" but once your server it's set up..oohhh

A IIS7 server, 1 GB RAM, 100 GB HD, hyper-fast connection, stable and accurate.

Now I'm hosting 5 websites at the same server and I think I'll never quit this provider.

I found some drawbacks when installing my websites. For instance, you have to install a third.party mailserver like hMailserver because of IIS7 is not delivered with its own mailserver like IIS6 did. The same for mySQL, PHP, etc.

Biggest Pro: Fast, reliable, powerfull, stable, cheap
Biggest Con: You need to install everything by yourself (Mailserver, PHP, mySQL, ASP components)
