| I went to Apollohosting because of what I read in the reviews on the web. I hosted with them for one year. When I wrote to them because I wanted to change hosts, they never bothered to reply. They had originally registered my domain name for me and now completely ignored my emails to them. They did not help me one bit in transferring my domain name to iPowerWeb. I hate them. iPowerWeb helped me finally in getting everything done. If you are looking for a good host, go to iPowerWeb. My website www.speed-math.com is still there as of now (Nov, 2004). I've had no problems with them whatsoever. |

| I have now seen a lot of reviews about this company and the tech support seems their weak point. My experience: Did not get welcome package for several days. When I finally contacted them they said it had been sent and they sent another. They should have followed through to see if I received the original. They advertise a chat area for technical help. Nowhere did they mention the fact that it doesn't work for mac users. I tried to use it 3 different times and spent about two hours waiting for a response. Much later, when I complained, I was told that it doesn't work for mac. All they need to do is put an announcement on the chat software page and I would not have kept waiting. This seems a bit dishonest. Finally, I had some initial problems uploading to my site. I e-mailed their tech people for help. The solutions were simple but, because I only got partial answers I had to go back and forth over a four day period. My site never was published and I finally quit their company in complete frustration. Many review sites rate them the best but this must be pais advertising because if you look at the actual user reviews you will see otherwise. |
